The card saw a significant increase in value from 2012 to 2019. A base BGS 9.5 / Auto 10 version of this card sold for ~$450 in 2012. The same card sells for ~$18K today, a 51% annual growth rate which is roughly the same annual growth rate observed from the Mike Trout’s 2011 Bowman Chrome and 2011 Topps Update cards.
This is a great card for the Mike Trout collector with money to spend. It is the most expensive Mike Trout card and one of the rarest, less than 200 base PSA 10 cards have been recorded to-date.
