Panini released 2021 Mosaic Draft Picks as an online exclusive. Although I do not know total card population, the Trey Lance Mosaic Draft Picks rookie card appears to be more rare than both the Prizm and Chronicles Draft Picks cards.

The Trey Lance Prizm Draft Picks Rookie Autograph is among the most in-demand rookie cards available to-date. In fact, a collector purchased a Trey Lance Gold Parallel numbered /10 for $1,575 in June 2021 and the auction received more than 40 bids! Although future 2021-22 football card releases will also include popular Lance autograph rookie cards, Prizm Draft Picks will likely remain a collectible brand throughout the season.
Panini included several parallels in the Prizm Draft Picks set including Red (/199), Blue Ice (/75), Orange Pulsar (/50), Blue Shimmer (/13), and more.

The Trey Lance Leaf Metal Draft Autograph is one of the best hits from the set. Collectors will find both Action XRC and Portrait Trey Lance autograph cards. The Action XRC (pictured) features Trey Lance in his green North Dakota State uniform running with the football tucked underneath his right arm. The 2021 Gold Standard Hobby Box is one of the first Panini releases which features 2021 rookies in their NFL uniforms. The set includes only seven cards, but is loaded with hits. Five out of the seven cards are autographs and/or memorabilia cards, on average.

The Collegiate set features established stars and incoming rookies in their NCAA uniforms. Each 2021 Immaculate Collegiate Hobby Box includes six cards: four autographs, one memorabilia card, and one base card.
2021 Immaculate Collegiate includes several Trey Lance rookie relic cards. The Immaculate Collegiate Jumbos Set (pictured) base card is numbered /20. The card also includes several parallels: Numbers (/10), Championship Logo (/5), Bowl Logo (/5), and several 1/1 cards.
The card value varies based on patch and rarity. For example, a collector purchased the 2021 Immaculate Collegiate Trey Lance Numbers Patch /10 for $218 in August 2021. Another collector purchased the base relic card for $59 in August 2021.

The Trey Lance Immaculate RPA is among the most sought after cards in the set. Each Trey Lance RPA is numbered to /99 or less and features an on-card autograph. I believe all (or close to all) patches will include at least two colors.
Card values vary, but recent transactions indicate collectors are willing to spend $250 to $1,000 on this card, depending on the design and rarity. For example, a collector purchased a Trey Lance 2021 Immaculate Collegiate FOTL numbered /10 for $910 in August 2021.

Gold Standard is among the earliest Panini football card releases which features incoming NFL rookies in their NFL uniforms. The 2021 Gold Standard Hobby Box includes only seven cards. On average, five of the seven cards are autographs and/or memorabilia cards.

The most expensive Trey Lance rookie card sold on eBay in the past few months is the 2021 Gold Standard Trey Lance Golden Debuts Rookie Card Auto /5. An investor purchased the card for $6,600 on August 11, 2021.
The card features a golden, glossy background framing Trey Lance in his No. 5 San Francisco 49ers uniform. Lance has the ball tucked underneath his right arm as he runs down the field. The autograph is a sticker auto and located at the top of the card.

Trey Lance Rookie Card Risk and Upside Analysis

The San Francisco 49ers drafted Trey Lance with the #3 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He received a 6.47 draft grade from NFL.com which was good for third among Quarterbacks in the same draft class. He ranked behind Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson.
Based on our research, NFL experts view Trey Lance has a high upside, but high risk player. According to NFL.com, high football IQ and above average speed, athleticism, and power are among Lance’s strengths. However, the same report also called out limited experience and being overly cautious as weaknesses.
As a result, Trey Lance rookie cards appear to be a boom or bust investment. I classify all incoming rookies as High Risk, regardless of their past accomplishments, but Trey Lance appears to be an even riskier bet than some. However, with high risk, also comes high upside, and the 49ers saw enough potential to draft him 3rd overall in the 2021 NFL Draft.
As a result of these competing forces, I consider Trey Lance rookie cards High Risk with High Upside Potential.
